I love Mix Media ...today I'm sharing my first page of the New Year ... I have alwayed loved Sunflowers, as a child I would plant different kinds ... the colors are so bright .. they stand so tall and follower the sun.. the flower of the country .... if we could be as tall and strong we would glow in the sun as the Sunflower does....

Let's start off the New Year with a project ... everyone needs a calendar ... Day Planners are so popular .. but what about a pocket calendar for your purse, car, office .. I found a great YouTube for a altered pocket calendar using those found at the dollar store ...

Monday Monday

In this A-2 Card I used:
 a pale yellow paper from my scrap stash for the background.
-I embossed the background with Anna Griffin's climbing rose folder.
-Gina Marie frame die in white card stock and another floral paper from my scrap stash
  in the center.
-The rose is made from Heartfelt Creations - Arianna Bloom die set, I did this in white
 card stock and inked the edges  with Memento's cantaloupe. 
  Under the rose I placed a die cut from Spellbinders' Sprigs in white.
-The ribbon is one I've had.. unknown .. but it's pale yellow organza.
overall ... I love using pop dots to give the card dimension.
